We are seeking reliable and hands-on Labourer's / Trade Assistant’s and Fabricator’s to join our in‑house Paint and Panel workshop, supporting the repair, restoration and upkeep of our bus fleet. If you have coach or motorbody experience this would be beneficial to this role.

This is a practical, workshop-based role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in quality repairs, and is keen to work as part of a close‑knit maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople with panel repairs, fabrication and preparation work
• Support paint and panel repairs on buses following accidents or general wear and tear
• Cutting, grinding, sanding, welding support and general fabrication tasks
• Prepare vehicles for painting (masking, cleaning, basic prep)
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• General labouring duties as required within the Depot
• A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn

Join our dedicated Fleet Maintenance team as a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic where you’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy commercial vehicles and plant equipment. Based at our Burpengary workshop, this hands-on role includes interpreting diagnostics, maintaining safety standards, and supporting team operations. A minimum of 3 years’ trade experience, strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, and a commitment to WH&S are essential.

Are you hands-on, safety-focused, and eager to build your skills in a busy workshop environment? We are currently seeking motivated Trade Assistants & Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Apprentices to join our fleet maintenance team supporting the servicing and repair of our bus fleet, including heavy and light vehicles, plant, and mechanical equipment.

In this role, you will work alongside qualified mechanics and technicians to assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks, help keep the workshop clean and safe, and ensure tools and equipment are well maintained. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the transport industry while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of essential public transport services.
