Booking is simple and easy; let our experienced Client Relations team assist in selecting a transport solution best suited to your needs. Additional information such as mobility requirements, dimensions, storage and wheelchair access is helpful at the time of booking but can be added at a later date.

 Accessible Public Transport - Translink

Kangaroo Bus Lines provides mobility impaired and wheelchair accessible transport on all Translink (public transport) services. Our public transport route services are 100% DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) Compliant.

Kangaroo Bus Lines’ public transport buses feature:

  • Extending wheelchair ramps to enable easy wheelchair, mobility aid and pram        access.
  • “Kneeling” suspension to make boarding and alighting easy for passengers
           with mobility limitations.
  • Low floor design that can accommodate up to two wheelchairs, mobility aids or
          prams at any given time.
  • Priority seating area near the front of the bus for mobility and visually impaired
          passengers as well as elderly and expectant mothers.
  • Strategically located assistance rails, stop buttons and ticketing equipment to
          assist passengers with a disability.
  • Colour contrasting to assist vison impaired passengers.
