The Birdsville Races is an annual event that KBL has been a part of since 2012. Guests attending look forward to a stress-free, comfortable six-day transport service in addition to our full catering and safari style tent accommodation offerings. During the event we also provide shuttle services between the outback township of Birdsville and the local racetrack, in support of the often life-saving Royal Flying Doctors Service. Our experience in long haul trips is second to none, taking customers through challenging Australian terrain to sites such as Birdsville, Emerald, Durham and beyond.
For the past ten years, KBL has been taking the stress out of getting out and back to the Birdsville Big Red Bash with our fantastic Rock’n'Roll road trip. Passengers travel in style onboard luxury touring coaches and are looked after at all times, by our friendly staff members. This is a great way to sit back, relax and take in the great outback countryside, meet new people and have everything taken care of for you, out at the Birdsville Big Red Bash!
Over a two-week period, Kangaroo Bus Lines transported Her Hands Ministry guests from Australia, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu all over Brisbane. From enjoying the panoramic view of our River City from Mt Coot-tha Summit Lookout to having group photos taken in front of the iconic BRISBANE sign at South Bank Parklands, the group enjoyed their time exploring our backyard. The Caloundra Music Festival is a three-day event where KBL provides Park & Ride shuttles on a continuous 15-minute return loop service. This is a great eco-friendly transportation alternative which includes wheelchair accessible (DDA compliant) options. Our transport solutions service four main hubs on the Coast ensuring all festival-goers are able to attend this iconic event. Our team have developed a strong partnership with the Caloundra Music Festival team over the years, providing eco-friendly and wheelchair accessible transport for the festival.
Kangaroo Bus Lines was engaged by Melbourne Storm to provide all their transportation requirements for a fitness camp over a 12-day period. KBL successfully delivered a reliable, stress-free transportation solution which included transport for the 2021 NRL Magic Round, airport and hotel transfers, stadium transport and corporate dinner services. “Our experience with Kangaroo was outstanding. Kangaroo Bus Lines successfully provided Brisbane Roar Football Club with a private shuttle bus service to transport their members between Kippa-Ring Train Station and the Moreton Daily Stadium, formerly Dolphin Stadium. KBL continues to provide members an undisrupted, high quality transport option; and are proud to be the providers of a safe and efficient transport option for Brisbane Roar. “We’ve found working with Kangaroo Bus Lines to be a professional service, and communication has been great especially when recognising potential logistical barriers."
Kangaroo Bus Lines partnered with Surf Life Saving Australia to deliver a complete courtesy shuttle bus service for not only the spectators but also athletes and officials of the championships. The services connected major event hubs over a 10-day period and transported anywhere between 3,000-6,000 passengers per day. “From an operational perspective the Kangaroo team was exceptional, and willing to work with us to fulfill any outside scope requests. The level of service and delivery was fantastic."
Kangaroo Bus Lines took pleasure in transporting teams over a three week period providing athletes a comfortable, stress free transport experience. The Australian Women's Cricket Team claimed the ICC T20 World Cup title winning by 85 runs in front of more than 86,000 fans at the MCG in Richmond, Victoria. Congratulations ladies, great work.
Kangaroo Bus Lines partnered with Logan City Council to deliver the transport requirements for their educational IGNITE Youth Careers Expo. This 34 coach movement provided transportation to 2,730 students from 26 different Schools and Colleges. This event gives the perfect opportunity for students to connect with organisations for guidance, clarity and opportunities in relation to career options. An exceptional team effort from everyone involved, especially our onsite logistics team.
Volleyball Australia is a National Olympic Sporting Organisation inspiring the love of Volleyball by fostering participation and sporting excellence. KBL successfully delivered transportation solutions for the Volleyball Nations Tour which saw teams arrive in Brisbane from around the world including Argentina, Russia and China. “Thank you for all of your help and assistance over the past week. Brisbane International Tennis conducts a 10-day event which KBL delivers a seamless service for spectators and officials. The shuttles run every day from gates open to gates close, with the ability to operate every 10 minutes between Corinda Train Station and the Brisbane International Tennis Centre. KBL has been continuously contracted to deliver services for Tennis Australia which highlights the trust both Translink and representatives of Tennis Australia have in KBL’s ability to deliver on our contracted promises, free from incidents.
Kangaroo Bus Lines signed a contract for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games to assist transporting VIPs and spectators to various Queensland locations. KBL was engaged by the State Government to provide support services to handle any overloads or issues that may arise through the network. KBL helped shift excessive crowds, working directly with the Department of Transport and Main Roads, a project that was pulled together in seven weeks.
Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast is a world class event in a spectacular coastal location and is part of a series of long-distance triathlon races. The "70.3" refers to the total distance in miles (113.0 km) covered in the race, consisting of a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run. Kangaroo Bus Lines provided efficient, dedicated shuttle bus services transferring competitors and spectators to and from venues as required by the organisers.
KBL were awarded the Project Lead for a historic seven-day rail closure that allowed Queensland Rail to commission the newly built Redcliffe Peninsular train line between Petrie and Kippa Ring Stations. KBL and key delivery partners delivered a bus timetable utilising up to 203 vehicles per day to transfer commuters between the affected stations. Along with approximately 40 support staff made up of supervisors, bus marshallers and customer service officers working across the affected stations, KBL exceeded on the State’s expectations of providing a safe and reliable alternative to train travel during this period.
Kangaroo Bus Lines were contracted to develop a transport and logistics solution for over 2,000 international guests attending a five-day convention over 1000km south of Brisbane. The contract included providing Customer Service at the Brisbane International Airport to welcome our guests, many travelling to Australia for the first time, as they arrived and escorting them to our luxury coaches. Our professional driving team then safely transported the guests the 6-hour journey to Stuarts Point. This contract was delivered in a timely, stress-free manner due to KBL’s commitment to deliver exceptional service using our experienced onsite logistics teams.
Over the 19 day contract period, KBL provided transport solutions to over 7,000 police officers, international delegates, media and other G20 support staff. Our dedicated team oversaw the logistics and deployment that included over 170 buses and 310 drivers. Given the scope of the task, our service delivery partners were brought in to assist from both local and interstate companies. Federal Member for Longman, Wyatt Roy quoted in his media release “It was a tribute to this great local company to beat national competitors for such an important contract”.
