We're on the lookout for a proactive and experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team at Kangaroo Bus Lines. In this role, you’ll be a key driver in promoting a culture of health, safety and excellence across all of our Depots.

From identifying risks to implementing safety strategies, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our people and workplaces remain safe. You’ll also lead incident investigations and deliver practical solutions to help prevent future occurrences.

Provide dedicated support in the administration, reporting, and continuous improvement of the company’s Health and Safety Management System. This role ensures that safety processes are well-documented, accurately reported, and effectively communicated across the business, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Health & Safety Management System documentation and records in line with relevant Standards and legislative requirements.
• Prepare, analyse, and present HSE performance reports and data to management and stakeholders.
• Support internal audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate incident, risk, and claims reporting processes including providing expert advice.
• Contribute to system updates, document control, and version management.
• Assist in developing and delivering safety communications, training, lessons and presentations

Join our dedicated Fleet Maintenance team as a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic where you’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy commercial vehicles and plant equipment. Based at our Burpengary workshop, this hands-on role includes interpreting diagnostics, maintaining safety standards, and supporting team operations. A minimum of 3 years’ trade experience, strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, and a commitment to WH&S are essential.

Are you hands-on, safety-focused, and eager to build your skills in a busy workshop environment? We are currently seeking a motivated Trade Assistant to join our fleet maintenance team supporting the servicing and repair of our bus fleet, including heavy and light vehicles, plant, and mechanical equipment.

In this role, you will work alongside qualified mechanics and technicians to assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks, help keep the workshop clean and safe, and ensure tools and equipment are well maintained. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the transport industry while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of essential public transport services.
