Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

Modern facility, fleet & equipment

Kangaroo Bus Lines is currently recruiting for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic. We have a large modern fleet of buses and company vehicles and are looking for an experienced, energetic and safety conscious individual to join the workshop team.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Fleet Servicing
- Preventative Maintenance
- Scheduled and unscheduled repairs
- Attend to breakdowns

To be considered for the position you must be/ have:

  • Trade Qualified - Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Certificate
  • Fleet Maintenance Experience on buses/trucks
  • The ability to work within OHS guidelines
  • Be safety focused, quality conscious
  • Show attention to detail
  • Heavy Vehicle licence highly desirable
  • Ability to work a rotating roster and call out roster if required.

Occasionally you will have the opportunity to work overtime via a rotating weekend roster and as a bus driver (if you have a current Drivers Authorisation, or ability to acquire one).

The successful candidates must be able to start ASAP.
