Taking students on tour with Kangaroo Bus Lines can be a fun and memorable experience.  Our tour coordinators have extensive knowledge of the Australian tourism industry and can give valuable advice on the best way to plan your itinerary.   We also offer complementary consultations and will visit your school to discuss your touring arrangements.  Our friendly tour coordinators are also available to attend parent information evenings prior to your tour’s departure.

Parliamentary and Civics Education Rebate

An incentive for schools to visiting our Nation’s capital is The Parliament and Civics Education Rebate (PACER), a subsidy for schools travelling more than 150 kilometers to Canberra.  The rebate is available for students in year’s 4 to12 visiting Parliament House, Old Parliament House and the Australian War Memorial.  Rates vary according to the distance travelled and funds are used to reduce the costs for individual students.  If you are planning a school excursion to Canberra and wish to apply for the rebate please contact the PACER program on Ph: 1300 368 248.  Please read the Guidelines carefully as conditions apply for the payment of the rebate.

NOTE: Approval prior to travel must be obtained in order to receive the PACER.
